“BiPartison is the most useless word in Government today as there isn’t any such a thing. Todays Democrats are not the Democrats of yore, they are Socialists. There is no such thing as “reaching across the aisle” to a Socialist in our Government, our culture. It doesn’t work period. They believe that BiPartisanship is you give, I take.

I believe someday....SOMEDAY Conservatives are going to realize that there is only one way to address any of todays Democrats in our Government, and that is with a bulldozer.

Run ‘em over.

The main task of we the people is to keep the bastards out of office.

Yeah, okay, Sun Tsu, why don’t you lay out the strategy for victory.

I can't win. I'm not John McCain. But what can still win is to be bolder than any Republican has been in modern history (with the possible exception of Ronald Reagan):

Tell the detailed truth about Barack Obama, to every man, woman, and child in this nation.

It has now been researched and documented. All that must happen now is to tell all the truth -- and don't give an inch. Don't shuck and jive. Call him a phoney Democrat and a phoney American. Call him the radical's try for a Marxist Messiah -- and lay it all out.

Don't tell me you haven't read what I've been linking to. We all need to tell everyone.

Look at "Common Tator" brilliant Analysis of how McCain/Bush out manuvered them. I am not sure they caved as much as make a bill that tastes like bile palatable. The question is how many vote no as a matter of principle. I think it should be all. Hang it on the Dems like a fine piece of jewelery.

The man of steel in this was Michigan's Thaddeus McCotter. My Gosh we have a leader here......

Mac will be down 10-15 going into the first weekend in Oct. Obama has a decisive advantage, and Mac's base has been utterly turned off recently (note the marked increase in the number of republicans polling for BO in recent polling).

McCain won't be way down except in those fantasy Dem polls. Marked increase in R's polling for Obama? Yeah right. That's a laugh.

McCain’s behavior on the whole issue is a given. Considering it was when he was “acting” like a conservative that his polls rose, I’m not shocked at all his reverting to Democrat lite type as resulted in huge losses.

But House Republicans have no responsibility to follow him. They don’t have to vote for this bill. They can hang it on the Democrats. It sounds like enough are going to give the Democrat’s cover instead. Then the Democrat’s will turn around and use it against them in their congressional races.

What I want is the House Republicans en masse to vote it down. That’s the only action that’ll renew some energy.

But one more thing, about John McCain. For him to tell the truth, he has to understand the truth, himself.

Hear the distant sound of hoof beats?

It’s the sound of the 527 cavalry riding to the rescue.

Check out the latest Rasmussen breakdowns. Republican support for BO has increased markedly over the last week. It explains the recent trend in BO’s favor as much as the movement of independents toward BO.

Yes, 43 years young. McCotter should be a strong Congressional GOP leader for a long time. Too bad that many idiot voters would never vote for him as POTUS (not enough hair...so it goes).

If there are Pubs that do not want this then hopefully they will not vote for it, but for the the GOP to do the right thing then NONE OF THEM should vote for it. Vote on principle, let the rats vote it into law, let them get the blame, then sweep the rats out of power in the elections in November. But McCain needs to be on board with them, not them be on board with him.

That House version does not contain the word “bi-partisan” once. Don’t know if it’s the final version, but I find that disturbing. Could that be correct?

You’ve got to be kidding, why would republicans vote for BO? It makes no sense.

Thank You.

This is what I was thinking and it is the scary part...

And investment large pension funds invest in - might be derivatives. And those are toxic now.

Agreed about McCotter. That YouTube video of him is just choice. How about Pence for House Republican leader and McCotter for whip? Pence seems to be a little more diplomatic than McCotter cares to be so I'd put him at the top, but they're both the kind of ardent, unapologetic conservatives that can inspire a national movement.

The defense of capitalism died when the Wall Street crooks failed to take responsibility for their action and came running to congress for a bailout. Immediately that made it clear that they supported the privatization of the profits but the socialism of the losses.

The movement likely is attributable to the events of the last week. Whatever the reason, it’s happened.

Gingrey on FOX said he believes a lot of the House Repubs are going to vote NO tomorrow. Speculation that if enough vote NO the blue dog democrats aren’t going to sign on either. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. I feel a tad better knowing that a bunch of them are going to vote NO. Wish it was unamimous.
