Sadly nothing. And even if they did try to hold a press conference to counterattack these lies, the MSM wouldn’t cover it.
I think they should just vote against it, but that’s MHO. The Dems have enough votes to pass it.
I just told my husband that voting against it might lose us the election...but do we really want our candidate to preside over a cooked up scheme like this where the Republicans are once again going to get the blame if everything goes south.
Let it be the Dems baby, let them win the election because of it, if that’s what voting against it means. At some point you have to stand on principle...just my 2 cents.
The press is going to spin it negative for the Republicans no matter what we do, so do the right thing...say no if it doesn’t meet the criteria “we” (the Republicans) think is necessary.
