McCain wouldn’t have a chance at winning without her. All of those numbskulls are East Coast, inside-the-beltway or inside the city types who are embarrassed by the thought of someone outside of an elite college or university anywhere near the Oval Office or Naval Observatory.
Let’s face it: Brooks, Will and Parker are far from conservative commentators, so I’m not surprised by their opinions. But Krauthammer is a disappointment, for sure. McCain would be 10-15 points behind without Palin there to energize the base at this point.
