” the Bush-McCain...”,I’ll be smashed by 6:30;)
Seems a bit early, but at the rate things are going I’ll probably lose my internet connection.
So I’ll post the pre-debate Intrade snapshot now. Then I’ll put up the post-debate Intrade snapshot later and compare the two, see what Intrade has to say about the winner.

Well, if you want to get trashed early and go to bed.
When Obama says “hope”, “change” or “uh” - take a drink
When McCain says “my friend” or “bipartisan” - take a drink
“This Administration!”
So far Obambi is doing good...not one mistake yet! :)
LOL!
God bless you GeorgiaDawg!
And thanks for this thread! :))
Yes, I'm walking the walk on election day. If you are in the Ann Arbor area, you may run into me making sure everything here is run legitimently.
I’ve had my White Castles, I can take any crap the MSM can dish out tonight.
Newt Gingrich and Dick Morris declared on FNC that McCain's sudden trip to DC as "brilliant", but that's sure not how I'm hearing it portrayed in the media today, even on Fox News. Rush, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Howie Carr and other conservative talk radio hosts are excited by it, but it appears that Obama, Pelosi, Barney Frank and the 'RATs came off as the party who "saved the US economy" (I know it's not true). McCain's actions came off as a cheap political stunt, and he ended up giving in to Obama and doing the debate tonight.
Also, Sarah Palin's "disasterous" interview (not my title... I saw only about a 5 minute clip of it) with Katie Couric is being played over and over... the libs are gleeful of Sarah's poor performance, and even Kathleen Parker (?) of the National Review and Bernie Goldberg are cringing about Sarah's recent performances.
I love Sarah, but she's coming off as not having an original thought in her head (all talking points), and Biden the Clown is getting a free pass by the drive-by media.
And Obama is ahead in the Gallup and Rasmussen polls today, among likely voters. FNC did a report on how Obama has over 43 offices set up in Virginia, to McCain's sparsely-staffed (with volunteers only) 15 or so offices. Virginia hasn't gone for a 'RAT president since Lyndon Johnson in '64.
The media and 'RAT voter fraud will do anything and everything to get their guy Obama elected... and I'm starting to think that they will probably succeed.
Anyone else worried...?
Mr. B has chosen "at the end of the day" as his drinking phrase.
Prayers for Senator McCain - may he not get shafted by the lib. moderator.

Query:
“Psychologically (NOT politically) speaking: What makes Sarah Palin
such a polarizing figure? How is it that she hooks into people
(especially women) so strongly? Does she show signs of having
borderline personality disorder or narcissistic personality
disorder? Is that why women have such a strong emotional response
to her? I would particularly like to hear from therapists whose
female clients have been discussing Palin in their therapy. Also,
do you have clients who are strong Obama supporters while their
husbands are for McCain Palin? How is that affecting their
marriage? Short emails are fine: I will be conducting phone
interviews.

If “um” and “ehrr” and “uhh” are drinking words, we will all be drunk by post #500!
In the 1 in a million chance that either Comrade Barack Fitzgerald Obama or McCentrist utter the words "Milton" or "Friedman" I will chug a bottle of whiskey. I think I'm safe. This is a foreign policy debate.
"What most people really object to when they object to a free market is that it is so hard for them to shape it to their own will. The market gives people what the people want instead of what other people think they ought to want. At the bottom of many criticisms of the market economy is really lack of belief in freedom itself. The essence of political freedom is the absence of coercion of one man by his fellow men. The fundamental danger to political freedom is the concentration of power. The existence of a large measure of power in the hands of a relatively few individuals enables them to use it to coerce their fellow men. Preservation of freedom requires either the elimination of power where that is possible, or its dispersal where it cannot be eliminated. It essentially requires a system of checks and balances, like that explicitly incorporated in our Constitution..."
-- Milton Friedman, The New Liberal's Creed: Individual Freedom, Preserving Dissent Are Ultimate Goals," May 18, 1961
"There are four ways in which you can spend money. You can spend your own money on yourself. When you do that, why then you really watch out what youre doing, and you try to get the most for your money. Then you can spend your own money on somebody else. For example, I buy a birthday present for someone. Well, then Im not so careful about the content of the present, but Im very careful about the cost. Then, I can spend somebody elses money on myself. And if I spend somebody elses money on myself, then Im sure going to have a good lunch! Finally, I can spend somebody elses money on somebody else. And if I spend somebody elses money on somebody else, Im not concerned about how much it is, and Im not concerned about what I get. And thats government. And thats close to 40% of our national income."
---Milton Friedman
I dont understand why Fox has Dick Morris on every show as their go to guy. Didnt this guy write a book entitled Condi vs Hilary? I think he got that one wrong.
