He doesn't need to.
Obama is punching wind.
Obama needed to look 'presidential' in this debate. He has failed to do so.
He is not making or scoring points at all.
His long-winded answers are tiring him out.
Rule #1 in politics - There is no need to destroy your opponent when he's doing a fine job all by himself.
Oh yeah. He is not a happy camper.
Victory in Iraq!!!!
Dang Mc, tell the benchmarks met. Oh, and mention that treasonous bastard trying to get Iraq to keep the troops there longer so he could take credit, all the while popping jive to the MSM. He still can’t say we’re winning.
It really doesn’t matter to me how good or bad McCain does because I’m voting for McCain/Palin, mostly Palin.
Mac: the lessons on Iraq.
We will come home with victory and honor. We will succeed.
The consequences of defeat—wider influence of Iran, more instability in region. Thanks Petreaus.
O now attempts to answer. He says he opposed war from beginning.
I think Obama is cleaning his clock. Its sickening.”
I’m not watching or listening. Does anyone else share this impression?????
McCain is cleaning his clock.
Hmmm, one thread has the keyword bestdebatethread and the others have notbestdebatethread. I think I’ll stick with that other one.
You must not be watching the same debate!
Wrong that the President presided over spending.
CONGRESS presides over spending!
The Constitution says is only the House of Representatives. To put a finer point on it
LOL We laughed too. My son especially, who gets the giggles everytime he hears words like that. LOL
Orgy. HA
Political risky, was this Obama in the Senate 6 years ago?
Stupid OBAMA! He is actually going to argue against success in Iraq!
that needs to be pointed out. mccain is missing his game, set, match points.
What I’m getting out of this debate is what McCain’s done vs. what Obama wants to do. McCain has done a great job with earmarks. He has been a bulldog on excess government spending. Obama seems to WANT to increase government spending for all the fairy tale utopian programs he’s got.
Let us pray the American public isn’t gulliable enough to believe it
Can’t even begin to go through this thread, but I like the effort to get them to actually debate, not just do sound bites.
