Exactly. He was a Muslim in his youth when adopted by a Muslim father. You are not allowed to leave that religion. In Muslim eyes, he is still a Muslim.
Not a matter of “thinking” he is a muslim. The child of a muslim father IS a muslim...period. Not to mention his discussion of his Koranic teachings as a child in his own book! Now he may have been sitting in a ‘Koran for dummies’ class at Barnes and Noble, but I doubt it.
