That’s too bad. The media will spin this into more of “can’t do 2 things at once.” Ouch.

McCain would rather resolve a crisis than win an Election.
Obama is for Obama First.

He better have Palin in MS just in case the media decides to pull a fast one and give Obama an hour and half free commercial.

I heard that Zerobama will turn the “debate” into a townhall meeting without John McCain.

I think this is great. Obama needs this debate more than McCain. McCain is making this farce for a bill front and center and it is great! The more Americans know what is really going on, the better off McCain is.

Oh Noze.

The nation’s problems will not be laid out and resolved at a 90 minute staged act of political theater in Missippi!

Viking Kitty is deeply saddened.

Perhaps cameras and mikes should be open during all bipartisan meetings in the US Capitol tonight.

Fox just stated that McCain’s team is planning to be ready to head for Mississippi on a moment’s notice if the plan goes through today.

They were practically in fits this morning on PMSNBC.

The media almost act desperate for the debate to happen.

That aside, McCain should go to the debate. After the debate he could go back to Washington, while 0bama and Biden resume campaigning tomorrow, spinning the debate results unanswered....

If it means the american people don’t get sucker punched on the bailout and Mccain loses a debate. Then so be it.

Bambi’s handlers are going to scream. Bambi can’t take any stress and they’ve worked hard to primp him.

From Scrappleface:

“Now that I have solved the crisis,” said Sen. McCain, “I’m willing to either debate Sen. Obama Friday night, or to just sit down for a cup of coffee with him so I can tell him what it’s like to be a U.S. Senator, what the inside of the Senate chambers look like, and other things about which he might be curious.”
