The real problem for Obama is that McCain has taken their campaign back to the SENATE.
Both are Senators. The only difference is that Obama had about 143 days of experience before he departed on his magical mystery tour to the presidency. He has no idea how the Senate works, and he personally is not a powerful presence in any aspect of the Senate.
McCain, on the other hand, knows the ropes as few do.
The dems put Obama front and center because they are afraid his lack of influence in the Senate will be exposed. The longer this goes on, the more likely it will be revealed that Emperor Obama has no clothes.
It was revealed when he didn't come to Washington on his own - he KNOWS he's got nothing to bring to the table.
Excellent points.
The thought of Obama being president of the United states frightens me beyond words. McCain has made a lot of stupid decisions, but at least he is capable of making a decision.
Ike knew that the decision to invade Normandy on 6/6/44 was a very bad decision. But it was a decision he had to make and it was the only decision that could have been made. Sometimes a bad decision is the best decision. If D Day failed, then the Allies would have had no choice but to sue Germany for peace. I'm beginning to wonder if this financial crisis is not an economic D-Day of sorts. For some reason eveyone seems to think that if nothing is done by this weekend, that some kind of irreversible calamity is going to take place. If whatever is done fails, then what happens?
And Obama wants to debate foreign policy in Mississippi tonight. God help us all.
Bears repeating. You have it nailed perfectly.
