He’s the President, it’s not his job to place blame in a speech like last night. He was trying to sell the package and asking for bi-partisam support and since the dems hold Congress and the Senate he’s not going to tell them they suck but should go ahead and pass a bail out.

I'm going to agree and disagree. The congress are the people's representative. The President should tell the truth so that the people can sift it out for themselves who was at fault. Given enough information, the people would see that it's a bad idea to give the government any more control over the financial sector and this bill would fail. That being said, if he really wants to have this bill passed then you're right.
