He hasn't yet and it will either be a campaign disaster or a real coup. Obama & Co. are laying groundwork if economy tanks because of GOP shuffling their feet and McCain's interference, they only have themselves to blame.
Should there be a debate tonight, McCain must make clear the details of the proposal, emphasizing ACORN getting 20%, etc., and that it was Harry Reid who said they needed McCain to get his side to fall into line and thus his trip to DC. He should also mention his sounding the alarm in 2005 and that both Barney Frank and Schumer cautioned not to be alarmed as all was well with FM/FM.
BTW did anyone hear Boxer on MSNBC state that McCain, part of the Keating Five , is the last person who should be directing her vote. It was bound to come up but she did it in a malicious, catty way feigning apology for having to bring it up.
Barney Frank should be going to jail over his FM/FM back room deals.

Reid said he would shut down the senate to force mccain to go.
I think the democrats want the ACORN pork SO BAD they can see the crisses through the pork.
