Ron Paul should be kicked out of the GOP.

Oh bull. This party let/lets people like Lincoln Chafee, Chuck Hagel, Arlen Specter, Lindsey Graham hang around. It wouldn't refuse to let Joe frickin' Lieberman in the party if he offered. Ron Paul is more in-line with the party's base of small government than many of the jokers in the party ever will be.

Republicans believe in small govt (after reagan) but we also share Reagan’s view of America’s role in the world

“This party let/lets people like Lincoln Chafee, Chuck Hagel, Arlen Specter, Lindsey Graham hang around. It wouldn’t refuse to let Joe frickin’ Lieberman in the party if he offered. “

I wholeheartedly agree. Lieberman would be the VP candidate right now if McCain & his crowd had their say so. And the GOP bid would be hopelessly lost.

I suspect that the next election will be quite painful to some around here. Palin’s popularity has proved that believing in conservative principles can actually win elections. She proved that we don’t have to “settle” for some liberal RINO. She may very well be the nominee in 2012. The dems see it too. They will continue their strategy of stealing away conservatives in vulnerable districts by supporting more bluedogs. Also all of Dr. Paul’s supporters will be back in force in 2012. They will be organized and well funded.

If the GOP leadership can’t see this, its their own fault.

Yeah many jokers including party leadership: even John S. McCain-I second your sentiments on Sarah Palin, though..

"Ron Paul is more in-line with the party's base of small government than many of the jokers in the party ever will be. "

true.. but our constitution built a two party system. we have a two party system. pick one or the other. This isn't rocket science.

if you are in a state that can not win or can not lose. only then can i possibility see a protest vote. But that is all it is.

But personally I don’t know how you can protest with Palin on the ticket. We should be say YES! it is about time!
