No, they did not portray that at all.
The skit was a bunch of staff writers at the NYT’s making up stuff, rediculous stuff and then justifying it since there was no evidence FOR or AGAINST the allegation, no matter how rediculous it was, that they had to print it because it was a question about Palin!
For crying outloud this skit was a complete rip on the NYT and the mainstream media for how absolutely rediculous they are.
HJ there was another thread on this skit yesterday (its up to about 400 posts now). I spent my FReeptime trying to explain the very same point (that the SNL bullseye was firmly planted in the assignment room of the NYTimes). I think there were 6 or 7 who ‘got it.’ Good luck to you today....many a thin skinned FReepers who have no sense of irony...
PaMom
Spelling it rediculous three times in two paragraphs makes you look ridiculous. =o)
Oh, don't insult my intelligence. Of course, it was a slam against the media and I "got" it. What you don't seem to "get" is that there are some things that you just don't do and that was to insinuate that vile act by Palin even if it was used to make an entirely different point. There are lines in society and SNL crossed one.
