I have to strongly agree with you.
Its unfortunate that conservatives refuse to get this.
The point is that the NYT is over the top. The fact that the skit calls them out directly rather than the oblique media is quite a statement in itself.
On a brighter note, any controversy will probably help our side regardless.
Of course the NYT is over the top. But would it have been possible to make fun of the NYT without suggesting that Todd Palin has committed incest with his daughters? I cannot find any humor in this skit.
Can you imagine a skit where they portrayed Obama as having sex with his children?

You think the cute little "come on this is Alaska" comment isn't exactly what the writers of the stupid show believe? It's called the power of suggestion and the storyline is all that brain-dead boob-tube watchers are going to remember.

I think you are half right. The skit does take a shot at the NYT but it also has the double “bonus” of smearing Sarah.
