I was so lucky to explain basic economics, and the current economic situation with someone who asked today, and because she wanted to know. She asked me: Why are we in a recession?

I explained the how/why we were NOT in a recession.

I outlined GDP, I outlined CPI, I told her of the % growth. I then asked her why anyone, including ECONOMIC MEDIA TALKING and TAPPING HEADS wanted there to be "a recession"... She said.. it's like a run on a bank, they want.

The doom and gloomers have been frightening the public with FALSE information, employers tighten their belts against hiring new employees - not because they can't -- but because they "fear". This freezes growth, it freezes cash, puts more people on the rolls for unemployment, etc.

As St. James in the New Testament has said: Many forest fires have been lit by the wagging of foolish tongues. (paraphrased).

And so it came to pass.
