Someone broke the law and AP knows who broke the law. they are obstructing justice.
If a pawn shop took fenced stolen articles and refused to tell the cops who the perps were who fenced the articles, they’d face jail time.
This is no different. Jail time for obstruction of justice is in order.

Erwin Chemerinsky (LIB Law school dean, on Hewitt last night) said this IS different - 4th estate and freedom of speech will protect AP and anybody else that reproduced and makes available to the public this STOLEN material.
The hacker, however, has committed a felony, will be caught, and if GWB has any gonads, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
