Federal law enforcement must prosecute these people and make an example out of them. They are not "pranksters." They are felons who must be thrown into federal prison.
We need to reach into the basements and bedrooms where these nerdy cockroaches reside and show them Mom can't step in and keep "little Johnny" out of jail if he breaks federal law.
The obvious result will be a clear warning to other cynical hacker-punks who think these crimes are funny.
We'll see how these cyber punks like doing hard time in the slammer.
If our law enforcement fails to control these crimes, the American people will ultimately have to either take enforcement into their own hands by launching an all-out war against this human trash or abandon the Internet as a means of communication.
