Again, Atlah is in Harlem and he delivers a message that registers with that demographic in a very effective fashion. He does go overboard with the name-calling, sure, but that is what retains his audience. He is an agent of change and inspiration within his community and an enabler for Black success, rather than a victimizer.
I suggest that you take a look at the Atlah Ministries website. See the stated missions such as “Gettysburg, the Nile River, and the Witch Doctor. Pastor Manning is the polar opposite of Reverend Wright, Jesse Jackson and the litany of modern day race baiters. He has an enlightening viewpoint within the Black community. That is the heart of the issue of why he despises Obama and his ilk. (And yes, Manning has a traditional prejudice regarding inter-racial pre-marital sex and he is forthcoming in his explanation of this viewpoint.)
What he's using to (as you so quaintly put it) "retain his audience" is racist insults and calling women whores simply because they have a connection to someone he disagrees with. Paul described this in 2 Timothy 4:3--"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."
If a white preacher was calling Obama an N-word and saying his Mom was trash because she lowered herself to have sex with a black man because it kept his church full, would you approve of it the way you approve of Manning?

If his problem was the pre-marital part, he wouldn't be talking about race.
Once again, what part of the Gospel makes it OK to sling racist insults and call people trash based solely on their parentage? Show me a verse that justifies Manning's behavior.
