I guess you didn’t see this list of Bishops who have spoken out against Pelosi, Biden, et al.

We should all be kept busy enough just being the best that we ourselves can be and the Lord will take care of his own.

Catholic Answers is again publishing its “Voter’s Guide for Serious Catholics,” both as a booklet and a church bulletin insert. Their stuff is always completely orthodox and well-written. The cost is nominal. It would be a great thing for parishes to include with Sunday bulletins.

NOTE: I don’t have any financial interest in CA!

From that page:

Catholics must learn how to vote—not just as citizens, but as Catholics too. They need to judge each candidate individually based on where he stands on key moral issues. They need to exclude from their consideration any candidate who is wrong on any of these issues.

And that’s where the Voter’s Guide for Serious Catholics comes in.

The voter’s guide helps you cast your vote in an informed manner consistent with Catholic moral teaching. It helps you eliminate from consideration candidates who endorse policies that cannot be reconciled with moral norms that used to be held by all Christians.

On most issues that come before voters or legislators, a Catholic can take one side or the other and not act contrary to his faith. Most matters do not have a “Catholic position.”

As you can read for yourself, this booklet gives clear and concise official Church statements on five issues that do have moral implications:

Abortion
Euthanasia
Embryonic stem-cell research
Human cloning
and homosexual “marriage”

These issues are “non-negotiable” when it comes to their moral standing—and Catholics must not compromise on these issues.

“If Catholics voted as they should—that is, by following the moral teachings of the Church—the ‘Catholic vote’ would change the face of American politics.”
—Karl Keating

In the voter’s guide, you’ll learn how to:

Properly evaluate candidates
How not to vote
and what to do when there are no acceptable candidates

We’ve also updated the guide this year to include information about why certain issues such as the death penalty and war are not considered non-negotiable—and why other issues which are non-negotiable are not included in the voter’s guide.

After reading this immensely helpful booklet, there will be no doubt or confusion about what the Church teaches and requires of her children.

The voter’s guide can be purchased in bulk at prices as low as $.22 per copy. Economical and attractive, these prices will allow you to distribute the guide en masse.

Help distribute the guide by passing it out to:

Your local church
Prayer group
Bible study group
Young adult group
Coworkers
Family members and friends
Local political groups and parties
