No matter what the Republican revisionists say, history will record that it was not a Democratic man who threw the live grenade of sexism into a crowded national political convention in 2008. It was a Republican woman.
It was Gov. Sarah Palin, John McCains impetuous pick to be his vice president.
In an otherwise punchy acceptance speech by a relative unknown, Gov. Palin chose to mar her big moment with a wink, a smile and a pox on all her sisters houses.
Thanks to her and the rowdies at the GOP national convention, we finally have the answer to that metaphysical riddle: Who let the dogs out? Some of us have been losing sleep over that one. Well, that and why community organizers have become the Willie Hortons and welfare moms of this election cycle.
Palins pit bull with lipstick line surely will go down in history if not the Feminism Hall of Shame as one of the dumbest things a trailblazing smart woman ever said in public on this side of Stepford.

Men are better

The great and wonderful Oz RHONDA CHRISS LOKEMAN wouldn't be caught dead at a hockey game or a soccer game or at any other organized game of a sport in which kids participate. Hence her incomprehension of Sarah Palin and also of the soon-to-be fact that Palin and John McCain are going to wipe the floor with those other guys come November.
About 12% of the U.S. population is black; about 50% of the U.S. population is female. You do the math, Rhonda...
The author of this article is not a very good writer. She rambles too much and is at times just this side of being coherent. Perhaps she needs to retake English Comp.
Liberals are such pitiful, small minded people.
Small minded they may be, but pitiful, no.
Good point. BO missed his chance with his VP selection and McCain capitalized on that mistake. Lots of PO'ed Hillary voters will vote for the hockey mom.
Uh huh.
I agree. I was grocery-shopping last night, standing in check-out line, and a couple everyday housewives were behind me checking out the gossip rags. They were both disgusted with Obama and the MSM.
Two more votes for McCain-Palin.
Wright racism alert!
