Whistling past the grave yard???
They'll need to continue their winning streak.
Sadam’s spokesman comes to mind. Bagdad Bob I think
... Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. ... B.H.O.
So, they plan to continue what they do best - lie.
beyond delusional
.... and I'm real upbeat about my lottery numbers.
VA and CO are central to Obama’s strategy.
CO could go blue, but I dont see VA doing it.
50 state strategy, they need to keep pouring money into Alaska too.
Just wait. Warner is about to get his much deserved beating in VA. Let’s wait till the end of September and see how upbeat this team is. The VA GOP is readying an attack.
Were very confident in our strategy and in our message, and we are focused like a laser beam on states like North Carolina and Virginia, he said.
Expect to see them pull out of North Carolina completely within two weeks, and out of Virginia about two weeks after that.
I’m guessing the military folks here won’t like Obama mocking their war hero’s disabilities.
I’d like to get James Webb pinned down on that one — I don’t think he opposes McCain nearly as much as he hated Bush.
It’s lipstick on a pig from the source himself. Simply because he can’t say OMG WTF! he comes up with from the ObamaTron 2000 v.9.1.4 boilerplate generator.

“Okay, you got what you need?”
Yes. Thanks, you’ve been very helpful.
“So, ah, we’re off the record now?”

(pause) (sniffle) “We are sooo screwed....”
Plouffe must have missed that little gathering Wednesday in Fairfax (Northern Virginia, where the Commonwealth is most blue). Estimates varied, but most go along with the 23,000 count .. on two days’ notice ... on a weekday morning.

From all appearances, those attending actually work for a living and chose to take time off to attend. Some took kids out of school. It was very telling abut where the Old Dominion is heading in November.
Local news just announced that Linwood Holton, the first Republican governor of VA in modern times, will campaign for Obama. His son-in-law, for whom he also campaigned, is the sitting Dem Gov. Keane who was frequently mentioned as a possible VP running mate for Obama. Somehow, I don’t see Holton pulling over any otherwise Republican or Independent votes.

Sounds like the money is drying up. Trying hard to “keep hope alive”.
plouffe needs to concentrate on states #51-#57 to have any chance of winning..
Mentioning North Carolina in the same breath undermines his case. Increased black turnout will narrow things up a bit, but it'll still be a comfortable McCain-Palin win in NC.
