According to the Associated Press, Obama campaign manager David Pfouffle issued a stern campaign strategy memo Friday that said, in part:
"Today is the first day of the rest of the campaign. We will respond with speed and ferocity to John McCain's attacks and we will take the fight to him, but we will do it on the big issues that matter to the American people."
The "big issues."
Like fractured fingers?

I thought it was because of his shoulders.
Please spare us you insenstive self-righteous indignation you sexist pig Osama... errrrrrrr Obama
Did McC say this - or is this something we surmise?
Either way, its a stupid ad and a retraction ought to be issued if the Democrats had an ounce of decency.
Here’s a passage from a lengthy Boston Globe profile on McCain that was published the last time he ran for president. It was headlined “McCain character loyal to a fault.” It was written by Mary Leonard.
And it was printed more than eight years ago, on March 4, 2000.
It is available online, where Jonah Goldberg of The Corner blog at the National Review found it.
“McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain’s encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He’s an avid fan — Ted Williams is his hero — but he can’t raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.”
Unbelievable incompetency in Obama’s campaign! Even before I read this I thought it was a stupid ad that was going to backfire, especially in FL! Dufuses!
We know. Search is your friend.
Doug from Upland has a U-tube response to the latest attack ad that
McCain cannot send email.

Team McCain has to tar them with this.Okay, so the ad was just b.s. from soup to nuts. He actually has more cyber-cred than Obama.
From Forbes, Via Ace of Spades who is all over this thing:
In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate's savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. "She's a whiz on the keyboard, and I'm so laborious," McCain admits.
Rush mentioned yesterday that should McCain become President her would not be permitted to send Email nor would ANY President. Security risks are to high.
It is known. McCain has to use his wife or staffers to type for him.
That’s odd. How will he get emails that offer Canadian drugs, business deal offers and warnings to verify his Pay Pal pass words?
Another gem from the mouth of the Classless One.
The comments (think about who would actually be logged into the LA slimes) are unbelieveable...
They say “this isn’t about his disabilities, you can get voice activated email software”...
Brilliant.
I can imagine he probably has excruciating pain holding his arms forward at a keyboard.
It is impossible to fly a jet fighter and be technologically illiterate. Zerobama would not know how to close the canopy of a A-4E Skyhawk.
Apparently you don't get on FR very much. This has been going on since yesterday. In 2000 an article was published outlining the fact that McCain can't type on a keyboard.
He does his email at night with his wife Cindy and she types in the responses for him.
Not only that it has been learned that McCain is very computer literate, not that it matters whether he is or not except for the obivous lies on Obama's part, learning as much as he could during the 2000 election.
There is more but it is a fact, not speculation, that McCain cannot use a keyboard and Obama's whole ad is a lie and a smear on McCain for being old and out of touch(in itself a stupid move since the largest voter block in the US are the seniors).
I thought the “stand up Chuck” blunder was bad and they couldn’t do any worse. Guess I was wrong.
