A big part of the problem is NIMBY idiots. That is not congress - that is local. Teddy boy is one of those - no wind turbines to spoil his view.
Looks to me like that democrat woman mayor in Galveston is going to have alot to answer for as well. She did not order an evacuation until Thursday at 5:00 pm and only then, for the western side of island.
She is going to have the blood of ‘her people’ on her hands...although if you have to have a politician tell you when to leave, you are a hopeless fool regardless...(eye roll)
BS. I lived in Oklahoma until 6 years ago. It is the US congress, and the US congress ALONE that has blocked new refineries there.
