Well, we lost power for about an hour but it just came back on, thank goodness, but I don’t know for how long.
I can’t believe that the power company workers are out in this storm. I thought once we lost it that would be it.
Its really bad right now, heavy rain and wind. Lots of limbs, debris but so far, all my trees and house are okay. I have friends in Sugar Land and if I hear from them, I will let you know.

That is UNBELIEVEABLE! You are lucky. I lost power for 2 weeks after Fredrick and 1 week after Ivan.
I looked at your location on the map and this storm must have been all surge and little else. Prayers up this holds true for most.
My SIL and daughter just called from Shenandoah just n of The Woodlands..They have lost trees in front yard..some trees down on houses on their street...they lost power hours ago.Their back fence went down as they were talking..They were experiencing very high winds ..Careless neighbor left out gas cans..cans hit their car.
They are stressed but they are safe so far. No way to recharge their cell phone so I won’t hear more today most likely.
