The Morning Advocate (Baton Rouge) is saying there are no Htel rooms in the area for the LSU and Southern Football games tonight.

That is more because of Gustav than Ike, but with North Texas playing Baton Rouge, Texans might need to be warned.

Additionally, the Morning Advocate is saying that attendance will be down at the games as people are still without power from Hurricane Gustav.

So now you have Texas having millions without power (and the number climbing), and there are exhausted crews here in Louisiana trying to restore power in areas affected by Gustav.

Hurricane Ike will require some Texas sized numbers of repair crews to restore power, and Louisiana/Mississippi may not be able to help much...

Weather Channel Reporter had Refinery fire in background. Was getting closer to investigate. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

If a refinery catches on fire, run like hell to your car and drive as safely and as fast as you can away from there...
