There's a bit of work in getting the radar gif to display properly. I was fortunate to find the instructions, but too tired to undertake the process. The radar display is equivalent to 7-8 ‘panes’ stacked on top of each other. There are instructions at NOAA, and they refer to a RIDGE product. Your link displays the top ‘legend’ key or function.
