This storm is no stronger Alicia in 83, San Leon will be OK. Just about everyone here is staying. My neighbor has a concrete/stone three story house. I will be fine I am on the high side of San Leon (12’), I worry about the folks staying on the low side (4’)of San Leon.

It's nice to see people getting back on line and knowing that they are safe.jpsb I think left.It's hard to leave your home.We have a 2nd home down the shore and when the tropical storm was coming in a few weeks ago we wanted to go down to protect the property.The difference is you were told to park on high ground -probably off the island.When the bay meets the ocean it is not good and I'm sure he saw the water rising.We did not go down and thank God is was not bad but when it is you permanent home it is hard.He is probably somewhere safe without power.
