Everyone I know on the coast has a freezerfull of fish, crabmeat, and shrimp...and with no power, you might as well eat it cuz it'll ruin if you don't....
You got that right, a lot of people feasted for the first two or three days and then it was canned goods. I did eat a can of sardines but I never got hungry enough to eat a MRE.
