My potted and bloomin’ bouganvilla got knocked around something fierce yesterday morning. Everything in the yard looks like its been in a 100mph wind except for it. Didn’t lose a single bloom! The hummers will be back.
I lost over a dozen plumeria branches. Luckily I have quite a few so next spring, I’ll take cuttings and multiply what is left.
My giant birds of paradise (over 8’) took a whipping and look like the leaves were run through a paper shredder. I think they’ll be fine though, they’re still in the ground. The banana trees also look like a paper shredder got to them.
