I just got an email from my mother in Mount Vernon — she assures me that she’s ready for anything Ike can throw at her: emergency generator operational, food and water for her and cats laid in down in the storm cellar... Guess I needn’t have worried...

It looks like y’all are in for a lively day — hunker down and enjoy it... ;~)
