I was born and raised in Beaumont, my family and friends all have cabins in Crystal Beach...High Island...Bolivar..Gilchrist.

All my childhood summers were spent at Crystal Beach, and my kids also spent their summers there.

It is just stunning, I did not expect there to be nothing left. I assumed damage, as always, but not this, maybe I was just in denial.

There are so many small businesses too, a little water-park, restaurants, souvenir stores.

Just horrible.
