Some very good "biker" friends of mine moved to Dayton TX a couple of days before GUstov passed to the north. Tehy were ready to move into their REALLY NICE mobile home a couple of days before Ike hit.

I haven't heard from them since Monday. I'm guessing they went to stay with their kids in Houston, although they all may have moved more inland to get out of the way of the storm.

Prayers up to everyone in the path of the storm, and hoping my friends - Pat and Chrissy - got through it safely.

I’ve heard that Dayton was hit pretty hard.

I surely hope you can reach your friends very soon. You are probably right that they went inland, rather than head toward the path of the storm. Please let us know when you track them down. Will keep them in my prayers.
