Welcome to the party, pal. ;-)
He just might have agreed:
I look forward to a great future for America - a future in which our country will match its military strength with our moral restraint, its wealth with our wisdom, its power with our purpose.

I was looking at trading my Ford Pick-up for a toyota extended cab. The letter I’m gonna write will be specific, and final. I’m not going to spend eighteen thousand dollars (and a trade-in) for a product which sales will support the drek of ABC network.
Is your wife political at all?
Yes I was aware of the players but some of the comments to the article makes me scratch my head. We do live in parallel universes.
I looked for the entire interview transcript and can’t seem to find it. What is the link you used to find this part? Thanks - want to get complete copy before it goes down the “memory hole”.
That is great. awesome.
JFK would agree with Sarah on almost every issue. no joke.
What a Fn hit piece.
First they preface the interview with a 10 minute segment that rehases all of the lies that were told about Palin, giving only one side...if I wasnt politically astute, I would have been ready for Nuremburg Trials.
Once theyve totally smeared and ruined her credibility (with anybody who doesnt know anything about her), then they proffer out the edited interview with Gibson demanding she answer each question 2-3 times with Gibson looking on as if to say, your wrong.
Then they cap it with a mini roundtable of 3 people, 2 who are former Clintion insiders and operatives...and ironically, that was the fairest part of the whole dang thing.
I am disgusted.
More money for McCain Palin and 2 bumper stickers per car (I might as well look like the white trash redneck Im supposed to be lol)
Glad I’m not the only one.. They sure seem like an eclectic bunch.

This is amazing! Total Bias! We should contact them!
(not sure if I did that right, so sorry if I didn’t do it right, but this is all I could find)!
If everyone here is serious about the media being the problem then why not do something about it.....cancel your cable and get Rush to support the boycott.
If 5 million people were to cancel on the same day......that would get their attention.
somewhere there is a community not being organized in Chi Town
I’ve got to tell you all that it’s been an absolute pleasure reading your comments tonight. I started following this thread at Post #2 and just kept going. I never even watched the interview on the Abysmal Broadcasting Crap network.
Now, Red in Blue PA and charles m, please chill the hell out. Red, you live in Pennsylvania, go down to one of those state-run liquor stores and pick up a case of Yuengling. Then have a few. Or six.
Dianna, you can be my VP pick any day. You put Charles M right where he needed to be put. Actually, I’m wrong. I’ll be your VP pick. If I’m worthy.
Love your tagline ...
They showed quite a lot... Sarah's home that she and Todd built on a beautiful lake (I forgot the name of the lake), their docks and a small seaplane that they own. They showed a glimpse of the governor's mansion in Juneau (I guess she doesn't live there?).
The interview was conducted in the living room of her home (it looked like it was done on a different day)... beautiful view of the lake and mountains in the background.
Sarah and Charles toured her high school, Wasilla High, they showed old photos of her playing basketball in high school.
The visual parts of the show were interesting, but it was the same 'ol liberal biased crap as far as Charles' interview with her.
I'm sorry I didn't ping a reminder to my list before the show, but FR was SO damn slow earlier, I just gave up... I don't know what is going on with FR lately, but I have no time nor patience for "dial-up speed".
Perhaps this show will end up on YouTube or repeated again?
Quit whining, and get back to the fray.
Sounds like Palin did well. Politics isn't minute-to-minute - it's a long term thing.
Relax.
Copy of my editorial sent to 15 newspapers in Ohio, Pennslyvania and Michigan:
Sarah Palin Is Attacked Because She Represents Real Change
The true agents of change in this election are John McCain and Sarah Palin. There is a reason that the Democrats are attacking her viciously with lies. They are very afraid of her. She represents small town America.
The liberal orthodoxy of urban America cant relate to Sarah Palin. They feel small town Americans are embittered and cling to their religion and guns, as Obama stated recently. However, it is the people that live on the East and Left coasts of America that dominate our culture with television, music and media that mock the small town values of family and God - as redneck. We are inundated with national newspaper editors and celebrities that say repeatedly, that religion and God are for the ignorant. They claim they love the United States Constitution but ignore the 2nd Amendment to that same contract that guarantees the right to bear arms as a stated right, equally as important as our right to free speech.
So, while our culture denigrates the people that live in the heartland of America, they attempt to foist an inexperienced media-made caricature of change on us, which goes by the name of Barack Obama. But there is nothing about Obama that comes close to change. He supports the same liberal positions that support larger government with higher taxes, no drilling for oil to gain energy independence, and demand that we hide from the problems of the world by blaming America first.
No, this is not change. It is more of the same. It is the status quo. It is the elite establishment view of America.
McCain and Palin represent true change. They both took on their own Republican Parties. Obama has never challenged his Party. Obama will:
1. Raise taxes
2. Refuse to drill for more oil
3. Restrict gun rights
4. Bring back Partial Birth Abortion
Before you contemplate voting for the status quo of Washington politics for President of the nation, consider whether you would even vote for Obama to be your local County Commissioner.
This I fear too. It's been my observation that big ugly attacks like this seem to work. Everyone says it will backfire but the media knows better.
