Charlie is so smug, it’s infuriating.
Ironically, ABC will score big viewer numbers for this interview. ...and Charlie....the viewers aren’t tuning in to see YOU.
After watching this program, I will continue my self imposed boycott of MSM.
I believe that people will give Palin credit for taking the hits, the obvious edits etc. I certainly would advise McCain/Palin to retain the right to bring their own crew to every interview or make interviews uncut and live, allow to create their own edit, etc. One of the few smart things that pervert Michael Jackson’s counsel demanded was to make sure they had their own video that allowed them to show how (whatever network) had cut up his interviews for the hour-long special so as to ignore some of Jackson’s defense. Don’t get me wrong - Jackson should be in jail. But his legal counsel understood the value of being able to refute with video cut from the final product but retained for posterity and refutation.

Silly comparison between per capita dollars received by Illinois and Alaska. No matter who is building a road or a bridge, the costs are going to be relatively the same [probalby more expensive in Alaska] so a sparsely populated state is going to have a higher per capita cost no matter who pays.

I love that quote (”slitting throats, etc.”) but I always thought it had no attribution. Menken must have wrote that after watching a play he hated.
You’re right. She is doing fine. It did not occur to Gibson that the reason they may want funding for studying mating of crabs is because Alaskan king crab is huge business and feeds people all over the world. Of course it makes sense to understand how they mate and try to find ways to improve production.Same goes for the fishing industry. He tried to embarass her and she stood her ground.
That was my take as well. Talk about refreshing honesty, the woman endears me to her every time she speaks.
Cokie Roberts, Susan Estrich and Geraldine Ferraro warned that the MSM was treading on unsafe waters. Thank God they didn't pay heed and the dems will feel the wrath of woman voters everywhere if this continues.

The entire Gibson interview and 20/20 lead-in is a TOTOL HITPIECE! It is incredibly flagrant. Obama has never faced questioning like this. It will backfire.
