Some people think this is a lark. I remember years ago the story about the people having the hurricane party in a hotel on the beach (was it Camille? Can’t remember for sure) who were swept away. I hope those kids stay safe.

Gulf Coast (Camille) (1969, August 14-22)
"Hurricane Camille hit Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama with 170 mph winds and 200 mph gusts. The storm then moved over the Mid-Atlantic region, releasing 27 inches of rain in one day over Virginia and West Virginia. Losses were recorded at $1.5 billion - a new record. 225 people died, most in the Mississippi Delta, where many ignored the storm warnings. Apparently, few people believed in winds over 200 miles per hour. One Gulf motel even advertised a hurricane party for the adventurous who wanted to watch the storm develop. Twenty-foot-high waves destroyed the motel and took a dozen of the partygoers."

Yes, it was Camille.
I have a hurricane video that interviewed the one survivor from that hurricane party for Camille. She somehow got swept out a window and managed to (obviously) get to safety. She knew how fortunate she was.

I drove through that area Nov. 1970 and I saw the devastation, oak trees 6-8 diameter simply twisted off at the trunk. They didn’t recover for years. One Chevron gas station was using a telephone booth for an office a year or so later.
