overcast here, no big wind yet, yard is as picked up as I can make it, and supplies are all in central location, my house is small, so central is pretty easy for me.
I just cant imagine these people not leaving down there.
Finally finished all our storm preps. I’m vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms now. LOL =)
RS, I think a lot of people were so burnt by Rita that they either think 1) traffic is going to be horrible or 2) the storm is going to break east at the last minute. I can tell you that everyone (but me) on my street kept insisting that we’d wake up today and the storm was going to Beaumont.
I also think that Bill White and the Galveston mayor totally underestimated this storm.
