It might be too late. If Houston takes a bad hit, then he is almost certain to get the blame since it's been advised people should just stay put and hunker down.

My husband and I are ones that are hunkering in. Watching on TV what is happening in Galveston right now, is breaking my heart and the storm is still hundreds of miles out.
We go camping there several times a year at Galveston State Park. Right now, it appears that we will not be going there for some time.
