I wouldn’t be so happy yet. People hardly ever poll Washington because it leans safely democratic. Obama also won every county in the state in the primary.
Methinks maybe Republicans are still outraged at how Gregoire stole the 2004 Governor’s race. There’ll be a rematch this year which will hopefully fire up the Republicans who were defrauded last time.
Survey USA’s poll 2 days ago has Rossi 1% ahead of Gregoire.
I also saw that California is in play. Not sure if it’s worth wasting time out there just yet. Could be a faint by the left leaning polling orgs to get McCain trying to take “Montreal”. If I were McCain I would focus on shoring up Florida, Va, Pa, Ohio and MI. I think they go McCain anyway but time and money would be well spent there. I still think it’s a 40+ state landslide for McCain but who knows what scandal the MSM can concoct to trim McCain’s polling numbers. I think the Clinton pow-wow yesterday was about Bill C telling Barry to run against McCain like he did against the congress by blaming them for everything. Only thing is taking advice from Bill C is like taking advice from John Gruden on how to be a Super Bowl dynasty. Um a lucky run does’nt make you an expert Bill on anything.
