I think everyone is getting way to wound up on this "Bush Doctrine" question.

Have a look at the Wikipedia article on Bush Doctrine

Here is the first sentence which should ease our minds a bit:

"The Bush Doctrine is a phrase used to describe various related foreign policy principles of United States president George W. Bush, created in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks."
