I am very happy to hear there was a close up of her face. I saw that first long shot set up and honestly thought it looked like amateur hour, UNLESS they were intentionally trying to make her look subordinate and distant and the placement of Charlie was dominant and open. It was done intentionally.
A sit down interview is one of the few controllable shot placements and constructions out there.

I'm sure those shots were staged with exactly that intention. But there was at least one extended shot of her face while she was listening to a question and answering. Rock solid "performance" there. Scare-quotes, because I think the performance reflected her natural demeanor, not some put-on.
