I haven't seen the interview yet, and am just reading the comments...but you are absolutely right. If she had said--oh yes, love that Bush Doctrine! the headlines tomorrow would scream that she is four more years of Bush.

Not only that, they wanted to paint her with many stripes... if she said she agreed with it.. then, they would have accused her of wanting to have the option of preemptive strikes ( in which I agree also ) and paint her as a war monger.
