This is encouraging. I think McCain has a better chance in Michigan than President Bush did in 2004. If McCain is ahead by at least 5% on Election Day eve, he'll have a chance of carrying the state.

Remember than Wayne County (Detroit) precincts regularly turn out over 100% of registered voters. Yes, that's fraud, and no, you can't do anything about it but win the rest of the state by big margins. :)

Even if Obama ends up carrying the state in the end. The point is that if these polls are close in these big blue states, Obama is going to be forced to spend time and money playing defense in Kerry states that he should have easily have wrapped up.

This type of thing will keep him out of Florida, Virginia, and Colorado.

I’m guessing detroit turns out more like 112% of registered voters, our dead vote too
