None of us are nuts or idiots, just close, longtime observers of Warren. We know his slimy ways all too well. I gave 6 reasonable reasons why it may have occured like it did. Including reasons that benefited Palin politically.
Yet, except for one other person, the response to this thread has been totally one sided (and pretty far to one side.) You would have thought Warren called her a pig with lipstick.

bh, we hear you, and are not idiots. But the points I still stand by are a. there are a LOT of people she could/should call who would give Godly advice on handling persecution rather than Rick Warren, e.g., Franklin Graham, who have been much more on the receiving end of wicked slander and lies; b. Rick does preach a more, shall we say, 'palatable' Gospel to the masses, thus not as exposed to attacks as compared to Graham, Falwell, Jesse Helms.; c. I seriously doubt she'd be calling him - the popular pastor, for political or demographic advantage, I trust her walk to be more honest and deeper than that. d. Warren does come off like he'd possibly be glory-seeking a little bit, just innocently avoiding to tell that he called her first 'to give some unsolicited support and advice. e. why, if true would he violate a cardinal rule of discretion and disclose the conversation except for, again as I think, the glory-seeking.
