I forgot to add: Remember what Gov Palin’s nick name was... Barracuda!
obama meant every low blow and he thinks he came out on top. But now we’ve got his number.
You can put lipstick on B. Hussein but he’s still a Muslim.
GREAT POINT!! Good catch (no pun intended).
No one,,,and I mean NO ONE,,,has connected the 'dead rotting fish' comment with the fact that Sarah's nickname is 'Barracuda'.
Another coincidence?
As they would say on FOX,,,,
"YOU DECIDE"!!
I agree that he knew what he was doing by making an “inference joke”. What I disagree with is how to respond to it. Sarah is an extremely tough lady and it is best for the McCain campaign to exhibit moderate indignation thus letting everyone know that they know Hussein’s a jerk and then show class by blowing it off as desperate rhetoric.
The lipstick reference, says it all. He tried to be slick by mentioning a phrase Republicans had used in the past but by the reaction the crowd gave him after the quote he knew and we knew what he meant. He un comedically delivered a nasty shot at Palin got the crowd reaction he antisapated, smiled, and acted like a little school boy who said a bad word.
He is a first class fool!
Can’t be the “Iron Lady” moose slayer and a victim at the same time.
Pretty simple really....Obama doesn’t in his heart think Palin is a pig, but he choose that comment specifically because of what Palin’s lipstick comment. He knew what he was doing. It’s time to let it go.
I have to tell you that I am incredibly worried about McCain's health at this point. McCain is an attack pilot [and no, attack pilots don't grow up]. Creating confusion and dissension in the ranks of the enemy (a tactic that is refined through practice on bureaucrats, martinets and superior officers before it is employed against the enemy) is part of the genetic makeup of an attack pilot. [No sane person lands A4's on the deck of a carrier either, but that is another story.]
I seriously doubt that the constitution of a 70 year old man can take rolling around on the floor laughing until he busts a gut ever since he dropped this pit bull in lipstick behind enemy lines. I am really worried and am saying my prayers that McCain can survive the impact of this joke of all jokes [no it isn't Palin that is the joke, it is the libs and their maximum leader, the chosen One]. When an effort to disrupt and confuse works out better than your fondest dreams and your enemy melts before your eyes like the whicked warlock of the East, it is hillaryous.
Frankly, I disagree with you. The reaction of the crowd showed me he was throwing it out there to rebut Sarah’s comment or make of Sarah’s comment. To be honest with you, you can put lipstick on a Barack Hussein Obama and you still have a Barack Hussein Obama with lipstick!
...make fun of Sarah's comment
Sure you can...if you don't care about the attacks. It just makes the attacker look stupid. In this case it makes him look like a Muslim extremist calling a mother a pig.
My bad I should have said “act the victim”.
Here are links (I hope) to 2 separate videos of Obama flipping off Hillary:

That sealed the deal for me...
You can tell that Obama’s “lipstick” remark is personally directed towards Palin because of the “fish” remark that followed it.
It is true that the “lipstick” line is usually used to describe legislation - especially when that legislation is a revised bill.
However, the “old fish wrapped in paper” metaphor has never been used in such a context to my knowledge.
The “old fish” remark could be construed as a personal attack towards McCain.
Here’s how. If you haven’t noticed, McCain doesn’t look like he goes out in the sun a lot.
He in fact doesn’t, because of his previous bouts with melanoma.
So he’s pretty light skinned - in fact, if you wanted to insult him personally, you could say he’s fish-belly white.
Hence, the “old fish” is actually a metaphor for McCain himself, not his policy.
It follows then that the preceding “lipstick” remark was also intended personally, but that time towards Palin.
After insulting Palin personally, Obama must’ve felt a need to insult the other half of the ticket.
It’s too bad that the press missed that one, because the “fish” remark could be construed as both racist and as making fun
of McCain’s cancer history. That’s much more damaging to Obama than the “lipstick” insult.
My mistake.
Didn’t realize right away that the two videos are really taken from different angles of the same speech.
Sorry
One is www.hillaryforum.com... and they really do not like “precious” as they call him. Some of them seem quite grounded... but then there is always a howling at the moon bat.
LLS
No prob. :)
