pine trees don’t uproot so easily.

Pine trees snap in the middle. I had a pine tree snap in the middle during Fran and was lucky enough for the top half to miss both my and my neighbor's houses.

We had an ice storm once in E TX and the worst part was the pine trees breaking and pulling down all the power lines. It was a mess.
