We live in Conroe and in 1983 when Alicia came to town we were without power for six days. I’ll never forget crouching in the closet and wondering if that howling wind would ever stop. We cooked outside for every meal and our children loved it. We all cried when the power came back on. August in southeast Texas is a new kind of hot.

Hey, Beckybea...

I used to live in Conroe and my folks still do (Rivershire). We moved to Corpus about 6 years ago.

Hope all goes well over there for all of you!
