No one does not.

Lipstick on a pig is a phrase that means you can’t take something ugly try to dress it up and pretend its not ugly.

Fauxbama and the full text is here and out there for anyone to look at clearly attacked McCain/Bush’s policies and then said they are the same old same old, you can’t put lipstic on a pig.. its still a pig... etc etc.

The choice of using the word lipstick was no doubt an attempt at getting the nightly sound bite because it plays to her famous joke , but in the context of what he said you cannot get to him suggesting Palin was the pig.

It was incredibly juvenile and unbelievable STUPID, because the statement can so easily be taken out of context and used to portray that’s what he said, and make no mistake that there are plenty of folks on the left who have said it meaning completely Palin is the Pig when they did, that’s not what Fauxbama said.

Everyone, including yourself, concedes that the lipstick was used because Palin had made reference to wearing lipstick.

So when Obama evokes that reference, he is indeed responsible for the association that follows in his own metaphor between the wearer of the lipstick in his speech and that in hers.

You’re argument seems to be that he’s not smart enough to know that; why do you think he believed the audience roared when trotted out a mere cliche? He wasn’t at all surprised by the reaction, after all.
