I agree with you. It gets some people angry. Someone pointed out though that maybe the McCain campaign is doing this on purpose to expose how stupid Obama is. The McCain camp did take the quote out of context. This is good for people to see how Obama reacts under pressure. Do you think that Russia is going to always play fair? We need a smart President, not an affirmative action one who is stupid. There is always a different way to look at something. But I don’t like it when some people around here act stupid and refuse to see the truth. I am not going to play stupid just so I don’t get told off.

Oh there is no doubt Fauxbama is incredibly stupid, especially for the supposedly “thinking” candidate.

He’s utterly foolish, childish, idiotic and shows it regularly. He’s out there in not so many words still making the same old “nuances are important” arguments, when the core issues are rather black and white. He’s nuanced himself in a non winnable position on Iraq, still to this day after finally admitting the surge has been successful, arguing that it still wasn’t the right thing... etc etc.

I personally just don’t see the need for the McCain campaign to have directly responded to this fiasco.. I think Palin’s response was the correct... “I can’t be offended, its too stupid to be offended by, I can’t believe anyone was so stupid.” (Paraphrased) and thats enough. The talk show hosts and pundents will run with the quote, the campaign itself didn’t have to say anything more than Sarah said to it.

Fauxbama is running a losing and loser campaign, hes out there talking to the converted and openly mocking anyone who doesn’t agree with him, this is fine in a primary fight where you can get there with just the leftist core, but you can’t win a general acting and campaigning like he has.

The facts as I see them is Fauxbama thought he could be cute and get the evening news soundbite by this thing, and in stead has just guaranteed himself another news cycle or two at least where he will be doing nothing but justifying and explaining a comment that any smart candidate would have never made.
