I am not apologizing for anything... zealots here better wake up a bit. Not knowing who your friends are is a dangerous place to be.
Fauxbama’s an ass, and if you think I am some apologist for him I think you need to go search through the decade or so of posts I’ve had here.
I just don’t approve of a blatant out of context quote by the McCain camp. One of the biggest arguments libs make is that conservatives are liars and they misrepresent things. To this point in the campaign the McCain camp has done a very good job of making sure the critiques its thrown at Fauxbama are above board, and that’s important. You or other rabid conservatives may not like it, but its been a good campaign that has had a good solid message.
“I’m not question his patriotism, I’m questioning his judgement”... not making hay out of his religion, etc etc etc.. He’s done a very very good job of keeping the criticisms legitimate and deserved. This one though gives credence to those liberal claims that here to fore were baseless.
Let the talk radio pinheads make this an issue, because they will but for McCain to directly out of context use it to imply fauxbama was calling Palin a pig? That just disingenuous, and uncalled for.
I expect more and better from McCain than this, he can do better, there are pleanty of things to criticize Fauxbama for, where you don’t have to take a quote out of Context.
For example yesterday he decided to say “Drill baby Drill, what kind of stupid slogan is that, republicans out there chanting drill baby drill.” Now here he is mocking a position 70% of the people believe in and basically calling them stupid.. no need to take out of context, just him looking like an arrogant ass mocking the american people.
Keep it honest John, you don’t have to go where you did on this ad.
