Obama knew exactly who he was referring to... Palin.

He thought he was being sly and witty.

Remember he and Biden think that are so smart.

Lets push this to the media.

Betcha we get an apology from Obama before the night is over.

I hope he stews over it for a couple of days while it simmers and gets reported. If he apologizes too soon, the media won't even run it as a story. The best we can do is hope for the media reports this in prime time before he apologizes.

The audience reaction proves that they knew he was referring to Palin. This screenshot, is just after he said "...its still a pig". Everyone is clapping and laughing maliciously. Without Palin, the comment would be just more blather that wouldn't get much reaction.

If he denies he intended this as a jibe, he is just being too cute, like Huckabee denying there was a cross.
