If Obama did not intend to insult Palin, his judgment should be questioned in light of the voracity of attacks his campaign and its peers are waging against Palin by way of her ‘lipstick’ joke. Unfortunately for Obama, I doubt few will believe Barak’s jabs were not meant to be a play on Palin’s lipstick joke.
I don’t believe the ‘O’ meant to publicly insult Palin personally. The lack of discretion, however, is not something we’d expect to see in a President. An apology should be given to McCain/Palin regardless of the intent. I suspect this has already happened and both parties along with the media have decided not to exploit the fullness of his bad humor.
Of course he did. Didn't you see him pause until the audience laughed, then he finished and they laughed and applauded. Not just a harmless old saying. An intentional insult to Palin.

I’m sure that Obama was referring to the McCain/Palin policies rather than the individuals. However, he said what he said, and I am more than willing to hoist him on his own petard and use it against him in any way possible.
